Born in Las Vegas on Mardi Gras, Alex has always been a bit strange. As child, she idolized John Glenn, Agent Dana Scully and Wednesday Addams. Though intrigued by the strange and unusual, she has a true passion for science and mathematics. This has served to keep her more Crackpot ideas and conversations both honest and grounded in reality, and she is always happy and excited to both discuss ideas and learn new things.

Injury prone, coffee addicted and with little to no sense of self-preservation, Alex is, in short, an odd duck.

She lives in Seattle with her wonderful husband and 2 dogs, Malcom Reynolds Brenan and Skye Walker Brenan.
